Free Picks: Buffalo Bills vs Pittsburgh Steelers

Steelers at Bills NFL Week 14
Buffalo Bills vs Pittsburgh Steelers, NFL, Bills Stadium

Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills welcome the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 14.  After finally losing a game, the Steelers will be looking to restart their streak of dominance, but it won’t be easy against this Bills team.  888sport has the Bills as 2.5 home favorites (-114).

Who’s the AFC kingpin?

I look like a genius after predicting correctly that the Pittsburgh Steelers would lose their first game to the Washington Football Team.  But am I really a genius?

YES.

It’s tough for an NFL team to go undefeated through 16 games, but Washington is a mediocre football team despite having a good defense.

I won’t toot my own horn any longer. The Steelers will be looking to revive their hot streak this week, but the Buffalo Bills may be the worst possible to try it against. Josh Allen just went bonkers against the San Francisco 49ers, where he threw for 375 yards and four touchdowns.  He finished that game with a passer rating of 139.1.

Josh Allen has played spectacularly this season and has taken the step forward that many pundits predicted he would.  He’s become a much more efficient passer and is finally shedding the “running back who plays quarterback” label that was frequently bestowed upon him throughout last season.  He’s often overlooked, but Allen is right up there with the best quarterbacks and will be a big reason for however far the Bills make it this year.

The Steelers’ defense is good, but I’m looking forward to this weekend as a real test of its strength.  For now, I’ll take the Bills to cover the -2.5 (-114) (888sport) spread at home.
