Legendary and old man quarterback Tom Brady hasn’t played spectacularly as a Buccaneer, but he’s doing enough to get the job done. Through the first two games of the season, he’s completed 64.8% of his passes and has thrown for 3 touchdowns and 3 picks.

The Denver Broncos are facing a plethora of issues that will make life very difficult for them this Sunday. Known for their defense in recent history, they sorely miss Pro Bowl LB Von Miller who, when healthy, is a top 3 defensive player in the NFL. Without that strong edge rusher presence in their lineup, Tom Brady will have more time to think and pass the ball with less pressure, which is a scary thought when you remember that his wide receivers are Chris Godwin and Mike Evans (if they both play, that is).

And that’s just their defensive woes. Starting quarterback Drew Lock left last week’s game with a shoulder injury and is expected to miss several weeks. Also, number one wideout Courtland Sutton is out for the rest of the season due to injury. This means that the Broncos offense will most likely struggle to get anything going, which in turn will tire out their already depleted defense.

Homefield advantage won’t be enough to save the Broncos this week against a healthier, and overall better team. Expect backup quarterback Jeff Driskel and company to have a long afternoon.
