NCAA Football Week 13

We’ve seen some stunning upsets and incredible football over the past 13 weeks. This week we take a dive into games that could potentially be high scoring and a certain contest that favors the underdog. Will the status quo stay true or can we expect the unexpected for Week 13? Here are the best free picks for Week 13 of the NCAA Football season.

Notre Dame at University of North Carolina

November 27th, 15:30, Kenan Memorial Stadium, Chapel Hill, NC

Since storming the field after their upset win over Clemson, Notre Dame has been flying high in the College Football rankings. Entering their contest against North Carolina, the Fighting Irish are well versed in upsets as they try to avoid being on the wrong end of a loss on Friday.

ND torched Boston College last week and should have no trouble against UNC this week. The Tar Heels were once ranked as high as 5th in the AP polls but disappointed against unranked Virginia and unranked Florida State. I am actually surprised that Notre Dame is only-4.5 on the spread considering how UNC’s high scoring contests came against weak opponents.

UNC has the offense to keep this game close, but I think their defense is sketchy. Notre Dame has one of the better offenses in the NCAA and have embarrassed teams like Florida State, Pittsburgh and Georgia Tech.

Ian Book’s best weapon is RB Kyren Williams. Williams has had no trouble scoring at will and should ruin the defense of North Carolina. Sorry Tar Heels, but I don’t see you competing with Notre Dame or covering the Spread. Sports betting sites favorite Notre Dame and it’s easy to see why.

Free Pick: Notre Dame to cover -4.5-point spread (-108) – 888Sport

Auburn at Alabama

November 28th, 15:30, Bryant-Denny Stadium, Tuscaloosa, ALA

It’s Iron Bowl week and this should be a bloodbath.

It’s no surprise that Alabama are the favorite on the money line (-1600) on 10Bet, so the true value lies with Auburn. Yes, the Tigers are your best bet (no pun intended) to earn some decent money off this game. The Tigers are expected to be walked all over by Alabama, which means there is good value for a team that isn’t that bad, especially with the spread.

Auburn’s offense scores 28.6 points per game which is respectable. Alabama owns one of the top defenses in the NCAA, but what saves them on the spread is their offense and how high scoring Bama is. The Auburn Tigers’ defensive core is ranked 25th in the NCAA. They have held the likes of Georgia to under 30 points which resulted in a loss, but if Auburn’s offense shows up that game it is more respectable.

Alabama will be tough to crack but we’ve seen their defense crumble against teams like Ole Miss. I know, the Crimson Tide still won that game, but that’s why the value is with the spread and not on the money line.

Free Pick: Auburn to cover +24.5-point spread (-113) – 10Bet

Oregon at Oregon State

November 27th, 19:30, Reser Stadium, Corvallis, OR

There would be nothing sweeter than the Beavers dropping the Ducks this week for Oregon State.

Sadly, I don’t see this happening. These longtime rivals are looking to one-up each other, but I think Oregon is much stronger than their rival. With that being said, both Oregon and Oregon State’s defense have had trouble keeping the opposition out of the end zone.

The Beavers allow 30.7 points per game, while the Ducks allow 26 points per game. Both teams’ offenses are much to be desired, but when two poor defenses collide, it should be an offensive explosion.

Looking back at the history between these teams, there have been some high-scoring contests. Since the early 2000s, Oregon and Oregon State have had no trouble finding the end zone. Last year’s edition was an anomaly of low scoring affairs between these teams.

The Over/Under is relatively high, but we have history on our side. If both defenses play like they have these past three weeks, I am confident the Beavers and Ducks can hit the over.

Oregon owns a top 25 offense and the Beavers are rated 79th in the NCAA, scoring 26.6 points per game. Oregon may have to do most of the work, but I see this being a high scoring affair.

Free Picks: Oregon/Oregon State Total Over 61.5 (-114) – 22Bet
